Why is e-visa to Ukraine needed?

E-visa to Ukraine is required for citizens of certain countries to enter Ukrainian territory for a period of up to 30 days.

If you need to stay in Ukraine for more than 30 days, you must personally apply to a Ukrainian representative office abroad and obtain a regular type C visa.

Citizens of which countries can apply for electronic visa to Ukraine?

Currently, citizens of the following countries can apply for online visa to Ukraine: Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Bhutan, Vanuatu, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, China, Kiribati, Costa Rica, Laos, Mauritius, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Nicaragua, Palau, South Africa, El Salvador, Samoa, Seychelles, Saint Lucia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Fiji, Philippines, Jamaica.

What are the grounds for obtaining e-visa to Ukraine?

Depending on the purpose of travel, the following e-visa types can be obtained:

  • C-01 (e) — issued based on invitation from a legal entity;
  • C-02 (e) — issued based on invitation from an individual;
  • C-06 (e) — issued based on tourist voucher;
  • C-07 (e) — issued based on invitation from healthcare institution;
  • C-09 (e) — issued based on invitation for activities in culture, science, education, sports;
  • C-11 (e) — issued based on application from foreign mass media.

What is the processing time and cost of e-visa to Ukraine?

1. E-visa processing time:

  • 1 business day for urgent processing;
  • 3 business days for regular processing.
Document review period may exceed 3 business days. When planning your trip, allow at least 5 business days for visa processing.

2. Visa fee for e-visa processing:

  • single entry e-Visa — 20 USD;
  • double entry e-Visa — 30 USD.
For urgent processing, the tariff rate is doubled.

In addition to document scans, the following information must be provided:

Personal information:

  • Full place of birth (country, region, city);
  • Marital status (single, married, divorced, widowed);
  • Current residential address in your country;
  • Contact details: phone number and email address.

Travel information:

  • Planned date of entry to Ukraine;
  • Full name and contacts of inviting party or responsible person in Ukraine;
  • Address of stay in Ukraine (hotel/apartment name, address, phone, email).

Visa history:

  • Have you received a Ukrainian visa in the last 3 years? If yes — photo or scan must be provided.
